So Within Temptation’s US tour has come and gone but there’s still more to see and hear.

In about a week the band will be rereleasing their first two releases in the form of the album “Enter” and EP “The Dance.” Both were released by the label DSFA and being that said label ceased operations many years ago the music have been hard to find in a physical format. Nuclear Blast, the band’s current label, will be combining the two into one release. These ones were before my time (that being Silent Force onward) but are valuable additions to any Within Temptation fan’s collection.

Later this month the live album “Let Us Burn – Elements & Hydra Live in Concert” will also be made available. The “Elements” concert was recorded in November 2012 to celebrate the band’s 15th anniversary. The setlist consists primarily of songs from “The Silent Force,” “The Heart of Everything,” and “The Unforgiving.” The “Hydra” portion of the album was recorded earlier this year in May in Amsterdam. As the name might expect the bulk of the set is “Hydra” with some classics like “Stand My Ground” and “Ice Queen” thrown in.

For those who enjoy a more visual format “Let Us Burn” will also be released as a DVD or Blu-ray combo in addition to the live CDs. I’m curious to see if this will stack up to the golden standard of Within Temptation shows, “Black Symphony.”
