Drumcam of Arch Enemy’s Daniel Earlandsson
Came across this video by Sick Drummer Magazine a few days ago and thought I’d share it. The double-bass drum is the anchor of any metal band and it’s fascinating to see drummers in their natural habitat. Some drum kits get very, very elaborate and Earlandsson’s is no exception. He’s been with the band for almost two decades constant now (with a short two year gap near their beginning) and has definitely earned his place. The song is War Eternal from the newest album of the same name and it’s a great showcase for Earlandsson who utilizes quite a bit of the kit.
This video was shot at the San Francisco show at the Regency Ballroom in November. I like to think I’m somewhere in the video by default.
