The rock portion of Monster Energy’s Outbreak Tour has been announced for this year. Japanese band ONE OK ROCK will be playing support to the bands Issues and Crown the Empire. They also play alongside Night Verses. The band got their international start when their song “No Scared” was used for the Black Rock Shooter videogame and they’ve built from there. They’ve played at various points in the US as part of the Vans Warped Tour and as support to other bands. The band recently signed with WB Records.
I expect them to play songs from their newest album, “35xxxv” which was released under WB Records. If we’re lucky they might throw in a song or two from their past. If we’re really lucky, they’ll play a lot of the older stuff since the bands they are playing with this time around are much heavier (sorry, Sleeping with Sirens and All Time Low).
The Monster Outbreak Tour has four stops in California, the closest to me being in San Francisco. Other locations include San Bernadino, Sacramento, and San Diego. Thankfully this time I won’t get stuck in traffic for two hours and miss the set. Hell, if I had to, I could walk to the venue from work.
