Motionless in White’s new album “Reincarnate” is released as of September 16. They span a number of genres going from industrial to metalcore to gothic and back. You can definitely hear elements of Marilyn Manson, Trent Reznor, and Rob Zombie among others in the songs (and that’s not a bad thing). There’s lots of good headbanging to go around on this album. Chris Motionless seamlessly switches between growls and clean vocals like he’s oft to do.
Top two for me off this album would be “Unstoppable” and “Everybody Sells Cocaine.” In This Moment’s Maria Brinks lends her voice to the song “Contemptress” just to add a little more punch to it. The single “Reincarnate” is another one that maintains the Motionless in White sound and a good way to lead things.
