The band has made the song “Shudder Before the Beautiful” available for download, free, no strings attached! Now this is what I’m talking about. Nightwish can be counted on to have a killer opener on every album and this is it. The song starts with some spoken word before really kicking off. Drums, guitars, and keyboards have their fun before Floor’s vocals join the fray with an “Awake, Oceanborn…” It’s a much heavier track than Elan and is sure to get your head bobbing before you know it. There’s even a solid thirty seconds of headbanging time near the end. Less reading, more listening.
